Overview

The Quality Improvement Priority Matrix (QIPM) web application is a sophisticated, comprehensive business analysis tool for evaluating and identifying key aspects of your business, department, or team. The Survey tool lets you easily evaluate the performance of a company's clients, employee satisfaction, or a product's performance. All data is collected from participants via a web interface, and the data is automatically analyzed and organized by the QIPM system.

A QIPM survey consists of a series of questions. Each participant rates a survey item's importance and performance, thus helping you evaluate the importance of each item and assessing where you should focus attention and priorities.

For example, a survey item may be "Conference Room Chairs". The participants may reply with a high rating for importance, and a low rating for performance. This suggests that your participants feel that it is important to have good chairs in the conference room, and it needs improvement. As a result, you know it would be beneficial to purchase some new chairs.

Survey Stages

Each QIPM project has 3 stages: build survey, data collection, and data analysis. The QIPM system walks you through each stage, guiding you from one stage to the next. The online help will answer your questions for each screen, and help you build and administer the best possible survey project.

Stage 1 - Build Survey

The QIPM system has a Survey Building Tool which allows you to create survey sections and questions within each section. You can create, edit, or delete a survey item, as well as adjust the order of survey items. In addition to the survey questionnaire, you can also create content that each survey participant would see.

Stage 2 - Data Collection

Once a QIPM survey has been built, a project enters the Data Collection phase, in which participants are created and sent invitations, and their responses are collected. The QIPM system has a Participant Management System helps you organize participant accounts, track their status in the survey, and performs mass E-Mailing campaign to send participant invitations. You can also export up-to-the-minute survey responses and import into most databases and spreadsheet programs.

Stage 3 - Result Analysis

After the survey has been shared with participants and their responses have been gathered, the QIPM system will perform statistical calculations and dynamically generate graphical charts to better analyze and express the results. These charts can be easily incorporated into a report, publication, or paper. All data is saved on the QIPM system for your review and retrieval. Survey results can be exported for use in most databases and spreadsheets. Future surveys can be successor projects to existing QIPM surveys, thus permitting an historical analysis of survey results.
